USS Battleship NJ : The History of the World's greatest battleship
Through WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War until 1991 USS New Jersey and her 50,000 collective crew members earned 19 battle stars making her the most decorated battleship in American history. During the Vietnam War, she also earned the title of the fastest battleship ever built. She was the flagship of Admirals Halsey, Jocko Clark, and Reason throughout her 50-year career. Learn why such an imposing vessel had swimming pools on board in 1968, how the ship was built in only three years, and much more in this presentation by Battleship New Jersey museum staff.
