Pals for Life - Read with Therapy Animals
Animals are great non-judgemental listeners and they love listening to stories! Sign-up to read to several of our PFL therapy dogs and bunny and enjoy plenty of snuggles and belly rubs too. This hour-long program includes animal education, time for reading, and free time at the end for pictures and questions. For First graders and above, and those readers who can sit with the dogs without a caregiver. Come enjoy the fun of reading aloud and cuddly pets!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED as space is limited. Please include your name & contact info at the top of the form, and the names & ages of any children attending down below.
Please plan to arrive on time and stay for the entire event to limit disruptions for the animals, as well as the readers.
Parents and caregivers are not permitted to sit with their reader during the reading portion of the program. They are welcome to stay in the gym of course, and watch from the sidelines. This limits distraction and helps keep everyone safe. There will be time for photos at the end of the program.
