Odyssean Book Club
Ridley Park Library’s “Odyssean” reading group is starting a new book in February: Marcel Proust’s Swann’s Way. Swann’s Way is a classic of 20th century literature and has never been out of print since its first publication in 1913. Come out and join us! Participation is free. The group is holding its first meeting on Monday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at the library, and each following meeting will be the fourth Monday of the month ending, in June. The Odyssean Reading Group reads some of the most highly acclaimed yet challenging novels ever written. Since 2019, the group has read James Joyce’s Ulysses, David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest, Murasaki Shikibu’s Tale of Genji, Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace, and others. If you have questions or are interested in joining us, contact Keith Eckert at kaxeckert@gmail.com. Space is limited.
