After School Snow Time! Snowflake Bentley Story, Snack and Craft
Have you heard of Snowflake Bentley? A long time ago, Wilson Bentley wanted to study snowflakes up close, but they always melted. When he got older, his parents bought him a special camera. He developed a method of capturing snowflakes so he could take pictures of them.
We will have cookies and a tasty beverage, read the Caldecott Award-winning book about his life by Jacqueline Briggs Martin and illustrated by Mary Azarian, and then we will make either a snowflake garland or snowflake ornaments you can use to decorate your home!
Best for ages 3 1/2-10. Just walk in! We'll be upstairs.
