JLC StoryWalk® presents The Roots of Rap: 16 Bars on the 4 Pillars of Hip-Hop

In case you haven't heard, or if it slipped past your radar, guess what? Crozer Library just got a seriously awesome upgrade! We've established a permanent StoryWalk® right around the library grounds. Imagine this: taking a leisurely stroll through Memorial Park while immersing yourself in the pages of a captivating picture book presented on podiums. It's an ideal activity for kids and people of all ages to come together and share in the wonder of stories, art, and nature.
Now, here's the scoop: drop by and get your groove on with The Roots of Rap: 16 Bars on the 4 Pillars of Hip-Hop by Carole Boston Weatherford, featuring illustrations by the unparalleled Frank Morrison. Talk about an epic way to celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop!
Let's give a special shoutout to the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. They teamed up with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office of Commonwealth Libraries, to turn this project into reality.
