Wildside Film Screening
Wildside is an extraordinary garden in Devon, U.K. created by Keith & Ros Wiley. It is one of the most innovative and inspired gardens in Britain.
The film Wildside captures the creation and evolution of the garden over the last 19 years by Keith Wiley, in collaboration with his wife Ros until her death in 2019.
Keith is a masterful plantsman with a deep understanding of plant communities and how to combine plants that share the same requirements, based on his extensive travels around the world. Ros was an accomplished artist. This film tells the story of a unique coming together of artistic vision and an acute understanding of the ecology of garden plants.
Annie Guilfoyle & Noel Kingsbury of Garden Masterclass were keen to document the garden. They commissioned filmmaker John Campbell to create the film.
Wildside premiered in April, 2023 at Yeo Valley Organic Garden in Somerset, England. This showing of Wildside is the first screening in North America.
This screening is hosted by Chanticleer Garden and Radnor Memorial Library.
Film length is 1 hour and 40 minutes, followed by Q&A.
