Medicare 101

If you or a loved one is approaching the age when Medicare will be important to you, this program will be helpful! The sessions are designed to take the mystery out of Medicare. This workshop will be taught by a PA Medicare (MEDI) counselor.MEDI is the free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians with Medicare. Counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers.
Learn the basics of Medicare. This presentation covers the various parts of Medicare, the pros and cons of Traditional Medicare versus Medicare Advantage Plans, when to sign up for the different parts of Medicare, basics of Supplemental plans, and extra financial help covering Medicare costs
