They Survived Together

Join us for a screening of the award-winning documentary They Survived Together followed by a Q&A session with filmmaker John Rokosny in person at the library.

They Survived Together is the incredible true story of the survival of the Neiger family, as they desperately try to stay together while escaping the Nazi invasion of Poland.

John Rokosny is an Emmy Award-winning Producer and Director with 30 years of experience in Film, Television and Music. John has produced 100 episodes of the TV series, “Quiet Triumphs”, for Hallmark, and documentaries for television: "The Last Poets" for BRAVO for Black History Month, and "7th Inning Stretch" for ESPN. John has directed hundreds of top name stars in National Public Service TV and Radio campaigns.
