Growing Herbs & Vegetables with Penn State Master Gardener
In step with Longwood Gardens' Community Reads book selection of The Comic Book Guide to Growing Food by Joseph Tychonievich and illustrated by Liz Anna Kozik, Master Gardener Rich Kedanis will discuss the where, what, and when of herb and vegetable gardening. We will cover preparing your garden, building the soil, starting seeds, and buying healthy seedlings and plants, successful planting methods, maintaining your containers and plots, and harvesting your bounty for your own 100 foot challenge.
