Kids Art Class: Spring in Van Gogh's Paintings
Spring in Van Gogh’s Paintings: Listen to a Story, Look at Paintings, and Create a Craft

Ages 4-8
Registration required as space is limited!
In the first part of the class, students will listen to the story about the girl Johanna and her life. While "spending a day" with Johanna, children will explore several Van Gogh's paintings. Together, we will consider the colors in the paintings and the mood they create. We will compare nature on canvas with what we see outside. In addition, I will provide a few details about Vincent Van Gogh and his art.
In a second part of the class, students will make a craft inspired by the paintings and the story.
