Science in the Summer
GSK Science in the Summer™ – In collaboration with The Franklin Institute
Get ready for a summer of science fun! Join us for a two-day program with two hands-on activities each day. Participants who complete all four activities will earn a free ticket to The Franklin Institute!
Summer 2025 Theme – Be a Health Scientist!
This summer, young scientists will explore how to help people stay healthy and feel better when they are sick. They will dive into big questions like:
- What can people do to stay healthy?
- How do germs and diseases spread?
- What helps people recover when they are sick?
The human body is a complex system with many parts working together to keep us well. When something goes wrong, health scientists step in by:
- Running tests to find the problem and how to treat it.
- Using specially designed tools and equipment to help the body work.
- Making sure the body gets what it needs to stay strong and healthy.
