Let’s learn how local animals organize their societies.  Do they care for each other? Boss each other? Vote? If they vote, what do they vote for?  We’ll act out animal roles and vote on what we have for snack.

Come build a model of the internet of trees! We’ll explore how trees talk to each other through a network of roots and fungi. We’ll also learn about how nutrients break down so roots can soak them up.

Nobody likes pests, but most bugs are great! We’ll experiment with ways to keep ants and mosquitoes away with non-toxic stuff you have at home, and we'll make our own outdoor bug hotels to help beneficial insects survive the winter.
